How to find a charging station using the Freshmile charging station map?

From the Freshmile app or website, you have free access to the charging station map. It allows you to find stations near you, check their availability, and view their rates. You can apply various filters to find stations that match your vehicle.

All the tips for using the charging station map

The Freshmile charging station map is an essential tool for any electric vehicle driver. It allows you to plan your journeys and charge your battery with peace of mind by searching for charging stations in a specific destination (a city, for example) or finding the nearest stations using geolocation. You’ll find all the publicly accessible charging stations, representing more than 250,000 charging points in France and Europe.

Afin de trouver les bornes de recharge qui correspondent à votre véhicule électrique, nous vous conseillons d’utiliser les filtres qui se trouvent en bas de la carte lorsque vous utilisez votre smartphone (si vous êtes sur un ordinateur, ils sont à gauche de l’écran).

Etat de la station : tous les états sont, par défaut, sélectionnés. Vous pouvez désélectionner certains statuts si vous le souhaitez en cliquant dessus.

Disponible = vous pouvez recharger votre voiture, la station est disponible
Obstrué = la station est disponible mais les places de parking sont occupées
Occupé = la station est temporairement occupée car une voiture s’y recharge
Planifié = la station est en chantier, elle sera bientôt disponible
Hors service = la station est en cours de maintenance, elle est indisponible
Inconnu = l’état de la station est inconnu
Indisponible = la station est hors service

– Type d’accès : vous pouvez choisir d’afficher les bornes correspondantes à votre moyen d’accès à la recharge : Pass de recharge, application et QR Code ou carte bancaire. Certaines stations permettent la réservation pour une durée de 30 minutes à l’avance.

– Puissance de la borne : filtrez les bornes de recharge en fonction de votre besoin

– Connecteurs : sélectionnez les connecteurs compatibles avec votre voiture et la carte vous affichera uniquement les bornes correspondantes

– Gratuit seulement : vous pouvez choisir d’afficher uniquement les bornes de recharge où la recharge est encore gratuite

– Tous les réseaux accessibles : cela vous permettra d’afficher toutes les bornes accessibles avec le Pass Freshmile (ce choix est sélectionné par défaut)

– Style de carte : vous pouvez personnaliser l’apparence de la carte. Par défaut, c’est le style détaillé qui est sélectionné

Vous pouvez enregistrer les filtres pour qu’ils soient appliqués lors de vos prochaines recherches de bornes, à chaque connexion.
Pensez à valider votre sélection en cliquant sur “Appliquer”.

At the top of the charging station map, from the search bar:

– Enter a city, point of interest, or address in the search bar. For example, if you are looking for a charging station in Strasbourg, typing “Strasbourg” will display all the charging stations in the city.

– If you know the charging station ID, click the “Charging Station” icon next to the search bar, then enter the ID.

Tip: Remember to enable geolocation to quickly find charging stations near you.

Once you’ve chosen the charging station that suits you, click on it.
This will open the charging station’s page. All the station’s information will appear: general information, available charging points, and published reviews.

– Information: Here you’ll find the station’s address, the applicable rate, opening hours, and the support number.
– Charging Points: Detailed information specific to each charging point. In the example below, it’s specified that the station is equipped with two charging points with two different connectors. This tab details the connectors compatible with the station and the maximum power accepted by each connector, the applicable rate, the minimum balance required on your Freshmile account to start charging, and the accepted access types.

– Reviews: These are user reviews of these charging stations.

The charging station map is useful in everyday life: it allows you to find charging stations near you and check their availability before heading there. Thanks to the filters, you can display charging stations that match your electric vehicle.
